Welcome To Sea Change UK

Creative Supervision and Retreat.

Sheila Ryan Director of Sea Change

Restore your sense of place, purpose and vision in coming to this wild and rare land and seascape for professional supervision, supervision courses and for retreat inspired by nature, story making, art-play, sculpture and music.

Being in nature can put us back in touch with our vision, values and purposes.
The so called 'biophylia hypothesis' states that being active in nature helps to restore health and well being. (This is currently being researched, for example at Exeter University by Professor Jules Pretty.)

Making art, music and writing in response to nature can be a life changing event.

Life, work and well being retreats
Sea Change works together with an inspiring local artist, Sarah Gilpin and qualified wilderness coach, Geoff Britton to facilitate the changes you wish to see whether in your art making, writing, your life, professional practice, relationships or work.

"I meet regularly with Geoff and with Sarah (and our dogs, Maisie, Doodles and Dasher) to walk these coast paths. We share a love of this landscape and of exploring our individual responses to it. We find that as we develop a sense of this place, we also make a deeper connection to our own sense of place in our lives and work." Sheila

Sea Change Supervision and training
A dynamic, mindful and creative approach to supervision.
One to one and group supervisions.
Bespoke supervision courses.

A minimal input from Sea Change can mean the difference between getting stuck in the same old story and moving on with ease and purpose.

"I have a life long love of nature and of writing and story making. The isle of Portland is my home, sanctuary and source of inspiration.  Church Ope and the Weares are a wonderful wilderness, land and seascape.  I have over 25 years experience of supervising and coaching individuals, groups, teams and organisations.  You could be one of them and that could make a real difference to the quality of your life and work." Sheila Ryan Director of Sea Change qualified post graduate supervisor, coach and registered trainer with the European Association for Supervision.
